These are my snazzy new Ryka running shoes.
Earlier, I had a black brace on my ankle which I've already removed, since it bothered the bottom of my foot when I was walking around. I'll try it again if the new shoes alone don't help.
As soon as Hubs leaves for work, I'm heading out to run. it's been a week off now, sore ankle or not, we're back to it.
I already took 3 advil, just in case.

Ankle Trouble
I have not run since Monday. :-((
Ankle is weak and sore. Sort of puffy on outer side.
Ace wrap in my future and then back at it. I don't want to lose ground.
Grrrrrrr I suspected this project might kill me, but I wasn't looking to get lamed up first.

Last two runs of week 2
Both were over 2 miles. Finished strong and able to do the full 90 second run segments. keeping my pace slower and steady.
last night, I ran in the evening, which I liked.
still having some soreness and lameness on outer side of right ankle. I'm attributing this to the way my shoe holds my foot. hoping my ankle conforms.
I'm going to start riding the exercise bike on my non-run days. also some basic exercises. I need some 5 and 10 pound dumb bells.
water consumption is up. 2qts a day, minimum. with cucumber slices and/or fresh mint from my garden.
